Let's Pray

Last week we left Mary right after she was told by an angel that she would conceive unconventially and give birth to King Jesus. Her response was recorded in Luke 1:38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her. Next we find her visiting family, and she’s greeted with our focus for today.

In today’s culture the words obedience and obey have negative connotations. However, they bring a great blessing and a mighty faith builder. On tonight’s program we’ll go over the story of an obedient young lady, who faithfully accepted God’s will despite the possible negative consequences.

This is our final installment of the 23rd Psalm. And this, combined with music, scripture, as well as a look back at the many thanks due from our callers- this episode is sure to be a spirit packed program!

We all have dark valleys, past or present that’s what we’re praying for today. The Psalmist says, “I will fear no evil, for You are with me”. There’s the hope!

We have been going through verses 1-6 of the 23rd Psalm. Today, we will cover the latter portion of verse 3. As we dive in once again, know that we are here for you, but most importantly the Lord is here.

Today we are remembering the 18th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. A day of unprecedented shock and suffering in the history of the United States. Thousands of people died in the horrific tragedy, and we want pray for the families of the victims and heroes who lost their lives on that day.
